Talking Texture

“Talking texture” explores the consequences of the current pandemic on our lives. The impact of this health crisis has affected our civilization at every level; and socially and psychologically. Each artist expressed, in their own way and medium, the deep effects that isolation and self-confinement have had on their minds and creativity.

Humans are wired to be touched. From birth until the day we die, our need for physical contact remains. Sin Many expressed how he missed human interaction greatly. His series of artwork is fully interactive, and visitors can feel the different textures with their fingers. In his way, creating these pieces helped him cope with the deprivation from touch.
